Ajaka, Melaye’s Decision Not to Contest Ododo's Victory in Best Interest of Kogi, Says Group

  With discussions still ongoing regarding the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State, various socio-political groups in the state have lauded the decisions by the SDP candidate, Murtala Yakubu Ajaka, and the PDP candidate, Senator Dino Melaye, not to challenge the election outcome in court. EFCC Arrests 23 Alleged Internet Fraudsters In Benue

23 suspected internet fraudsters have been arrested by the operatives of the Makurdi Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC. The suspects were arrested in a sting operation in Makurdi, Benue State. They were identified as David Uvaa, Patrick Adakole, Cyprian Aloo, Michael Anaambe, Okti Clinton, Ibi Raphael, Anaambe George, Msaasha John, Oche Edache, Anaker Terpase, Tanko Japhet and Ayalgo Lorfa. Others include Success Terzungwe, Suursuter Isaiah, Lawani Peter, Paul Adewa, Jacob Paul, Ibi Shedrack, Iorkosu Michael, Shiedu Leonard, Terseer Mnenge, Ikyorna Raphael and Igba Ngutor. The Commission, in a statement on its Twitter page, said items recovered from them include different mobile phones and one Toyota Corolla car.  Governor Bello to announce decision soon Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has continued to receive more endorsements from different groups and associations in the country. The National Coalition for Women Support Group on Thursday called on the governor of Kogi State to run for the presidential election, noting that he has performed very well as governor of the Confluence State.
