2023: Multiple Women Groups endorse Yahaya Bello for President

 Governor Bello to announce decision soon Ahead of the 2023 presidential election, the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello has continued to receive more endorsements from different groups and associations in the country. The National Coalition for Women Support Group on Thursday called on the governor of Kogi State to run for the presidential election, noting that he has performed very well as governor of the Confluence State. The leader of the group and the National Women Leader of APC support groups, Hon Mariam Yunusa, stated that governor Yahaya Bello has done well in Kogi especially in the areas of security, women and youths inclusiveness in governance, infrastructure and human capital development. She said the group is aware of what Kogi State used to be in terms of security before the governor took over in 2016 and what it is now. Liberian VP lauds Gov Bello for surpassing 35% gender inclusion

  Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, Dr. Jewel Taylor, has stated that the leadership style of the Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, is worthy of emulation, citing the inclusion of women in governance and other great exploits. The Liberian Vice President, who was hosted to a dinner by female appointees of Governor Bello’s cabinet before attending the All Progressive Congress's National Women Progressive Congress, said the Governor has surpassed the 35% Gender Equality Beijing Affirmative Action. It will be recalled that Nigeria signed the Beijing Declaration on 35 percent Affirmative Action on women inclusion in 1995 but many state governments have not kept to the pact.
